Next comes Notability. This subscription-based app, also available on iOS/iPadOS and Mac, is top tier when it comes to its multitude of features. With its impressive ability to record and playback audio, it's hard to believe there's anything this note-taking app can't do. Similar to Goodnotes, many of its features enhance its user’s in-app experience, making planner use a breeze.

Not only does Notability allow its users to duplicate pages with a simple copy & paste, but planner organization is also made easier with its with its ability to create customizable dividers and subjects.  

Writing in-app is enhanced with its responsive pens & double-tap feature to switch between tools. And you’ll be happy to know that your personalization options are endless with its ability to add photos, webpages, and even GIFs.

Noteshelf

Last, but definitely not least, is Noteshelf. 

First of all, Noteshelf is available on both Apple and Android devices. Not only that, but this note-taking app features the best of both Goodnotes & Noteability, giving you the ability to add covers, personalization options, and record audio.
